NKP265: Struggling Stepdad Needs Nacho

 June 28, 2024

By  Lori Sims

In this episode, Lori, founder of Nacho Kids Nacho Parenting, talks to Stepdad Sean. Sean has been blending for over two years. His biological kids are no longer at home, and he has three stepsons who all live in the house. Having already raised his kids, he doesn’t feel he should have to help raise the stepkids. The stepkids have poor manners and are a bit spoiled. He fights for that parental role because he doesn’t understand being a husband without being a parent.

In this episode, we discuss the following:

  • Preparing, but then reality
  • Adult bio kids and teenage stepkids
  • Not wanting to raise someone else’s kids
  • Fighting for control
  • Hugely different parenting styles

Nacho Kids Academy Success Story:

“This Nacho stuff is completely opposite of what everyone told us to do. We were struggling and decided what the heck. We did still love each other and made the decision to give this Nacho thing a try. Three months later, we are ALL happier and in a much better place. Life really is good when you Nacho!” ~ J.B.S.
